Eye Books welcomes new book proposals, which should be submitted according to the format detailed below. As we receive a large volume of proposals, this will enable us to give you proper consideration and to process your proposal within a reasonable amount of time.

Proposals may be made in writing or via e-mail. The covering letter should include your name, address, daytime telephone number, e-mail address and details of previous writing experience, if any.

Please provide a synopsis comprising:

· provisional title
· length in number of words
· draft contents list with brief outline of each chapter
· reason for writing the book
· type of illustrative material
· one sample chapter, if available (do not submit whole manuscripts)
· whether manuscript is complete or being written
· description in one sentence aimed at potential readers
· suggested text for the back cover
· how your book differs from other travel books.
